Fall Protection Competent Person Training
Fall Protection Competent Person Training is intended for individuals who require fall protection instruction that meets the ANSI(American National Standards Institute) requirement of a Competent Person, as well as those seeking advanced training with additional hands-on exercises.
During this course, participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the components of a worksite fall protection program and build the competencies required of a Competent Person. The course combines classroom instruction with hands-on workshops to encourage practical application of the material.
Competent Person Definition: Someone who, through training and knowledge, is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards and has the authority to take prompt corrective action
This course is designed for individuals involved in managing or supporting a fall protection program, including employers, supervisors, safety professionals, workers, and rescue personnel. The curriculum is delivered in an engaging and interactive learning environment that promotes participation, knowledge retention, and practical application.
