Hello, my name is Scott. I have been with Southern Minnesota Inspection for 8 years and I am the Training Division Manager. Prior to working at SMI, I was a service manager for a rental company for 10 years, at which time I gained knowledge and experience in the operation of MEWP (Aerial lifts), Forklifts, Cranes and other heavy Equipment. My goal is to ensure that our team delivers quality training that encompasses the OSHA and ANSI standards of safe equipment operation.

My name is Tony, and I have been with SMI since January 2025, I am one of the safety trainers with the company. Having over 12 years of experience working with several different types of equipment such as Forklift, MEWP, Wheel loader and skid loader. While working in different industries I have been able to operate equipment in different environments to continue to learn and grow. The most important part of operating any piece of equipment, whether big or small, is proper training and safety.
